This is a very interesting movie. One great lesson to learn from this is communication. This was one major thing that was missing in the marriage. The moment Mel opened up to the husband that, has he paused to ask what she also wants, which was for Robert to get a job, he listened. If they had paused to patch up the cracks in their marriage, things would have gotten better. Let's all learn to talk things through with our partners and let us not draw conclusions without getting the full picture of the situation. If you feel neglected, find the right time and moment to speak up, not to let your partner feel bad but rather get solution to that problem.
