This movie kept me engaged wanting to see what was going to happen next. Terrific acting by Phoenix and Hoffman. Reminds me of the Bob Segar song Against the Wind and of my own personal life in that I don't want to take orders from anyone but fail to be able to live successfully on my own. Forever bucking the system and constantly paying the price. Phoenix's character as myself are survivors/chameleons that can blend in anywhere but can never truly call anyplace home again.
