This is show is abysmal at best, and I wanted to love it because of my love for the IP. I thoroughly love the Witcher series and books and also welcome potential interpretations of the original Author. This however is excessive, careless, and thoughtless. It is written as if a pre-pubescent teen started the story, then submitted it after they turned 18 without any proper editing. The dialogue, world building, and cohesion are non existent. While other hate diversity cast, I don’t mind as I care less about the diversity in the show and care more about the actors/actresses getting an opportunity they otherwise would not beyond it. However, slaughtering the original authors point of elves, explanations of racism, Witcher lore regarding procreation is just w reckless, and disrespectful. This is tasteless, heartbreaking, and meaningless.
