I must say I enjoyed it very much, even though I wasn't familiar with the books. The first story was brilliantly told, while the second one felt a bit confusing to me. I also felt that the second story needed more room to be fully explored.
The setting was great, and the plot was quite unusual though crimes do tend to happen in the woods quite regularly. :) Overall, I wouldnโt say watching those six episodes was a waste of time.
