Fareed, I can't believe I just heard what I did in the closing of your interview with Jared Kushner! You dismissed him from the interview without challenging his last statement about there not being any proven evidence that there was Russian interference in the 2016 election! This, after the release of the 1000 page Bipartisan Senate Intelligence Com Report this week detailing the expansive sabotage by the Russians in that election! How could you not have challenged this? Were you not prepared for him to repeat this same lie? I just don't understand what has happened to reporters (the press corps is the worst). Is it fear of confrontation? Is everyone so busy thinking about their prepared questions that they can't address the answers they are given at the time? I would be so grateful if someone could explain this to me. The only reporter who did his job last week is the one who asked Trump about all of his lies....why didn't every reporter from that day forward who was called on, ask him that same question?
