Nice, warm and real ! This is my kind of film !!

Watched it after a favorable review in NewYork Times and loved it. This one is a taut thriller which takes you right in the Scottish highlands. Both the lead actors are superb in building and keeping the tension of the plot as well as showing the vulnerabilities of their situation. The other characters, especially 'Logan' and 'Al' have provided excellent support. Other important characters were the woods of Scottish highlands, the biting cold which was expressed well by various body languages, the haunting background score and the outstanding cinematography. I am not giving any hint of the storyline to ensure you don't miss the joy of a compelling narrative of an engrossing tale. I always believe, a good movie should transport you to a completely different world, Calibre is a very good example of that. Enjoy !!

A cute little gem of a movie! The unusual theme, the honesty of Patel, the silent love of Ellie-Lily and of course the joy of listening to those Beatles songs in a fresh settings make this movie delightful. Highly recommended !!

The greatness of this movie lies in its simplicity and the bitter-sweet moments woven throughout the film. Everything is so relatable and also all the characters are so three-dimensional !! Right from the charming protagonist to her loving (and always complaining) mother, to the small charatacters like the drama teacher to the rich friends to the church nun to the doting father.All of them are real flesh and blood character which added so much depth to the film.
