Not for young children, but this is the first version of CATS that I actually liked (saw the play in London and the first movie). Loved the animation, the choreography, and the actors. For the first time the story made sense as an actual story to me, and I thought they did a fantastic job of making TS Eliot's poems understandable and interesting. I Hate horror movies and did not find this at all scary or violent - just sayin'...
