Watching the film for the first time 13 years later. I think it's brilliant. They didn't overcook it, if you know what I mean.

This film is brilliant! I've been wondering how to express the state in which we exist and in this film, some key elements regarding this are presented beautifully, lightly, and swiftly. Great, fun acting and script. Perhaps those with differing views on the subject of religion, consumerism, and death would be offended, and that might explain the low ratings. Please watch!

I will give it a thumbs up for putting emphasis on the perspective with which racism in America should be viewed in order to effect further change. I loved the people that she featured because I think they deserve recognition for trying to help their communities. I do feel that this documentary could have been stretched out into something like The Kindness Diaries because for a subject like this, the time was too short. So the show could have been more of a limited series to document actual action being taken or asking further questions, or highlighting success stories to inspire other communities in each episode. Leah Remini's Scientology and the Aftermath, and the Netflix miniseries, The Family had better length and structure. Basically, I want to know more.
