First of all the name of the movie is very charming. The name itself made me want to watch the movie. And the movie was even better. Absolutely fantastic filmmaking. After being bombarded with fake CGI nature in Hollywood movies, it is refreshing to see real natural beauty of the country of Bhutan. Letting the people of the village be a part of the movie makes it more genuine. The musical score is also impressive. This movie has made me a fan of traditional Bhutanese art of singing.
It is surprising and saddening to see that at this time and age, there are still people out their without excess to electricity and even shoes and toothbrush. The director has done a excellent job in highlighting these gap in development. It was an eye opening experience.
I would recommend this film to anyone. It's funny, romantic and sincere. It's a rare breed.
