We were assigned this in 10th grade (Canada) but the class had two different versions, one intact and the other censored. The teacher, a very cultured UK educated man, had us do a lengthy research assignment on censorship that taught me volumes. My mom happened to be a librarian and she helped me immensely with the paper; the lessons are still with me to this day.
