I've only watched a few episodes of the original but I can't comment on its accuracy/adaptation. I had very low expectations and oh goodness, they exceeded tenfold. The characters are likable (especially Aang), the action is pretty rad (great opening!) and the world-building is tops. It's a fun series. 5/5
