I awoke thinking and reflecting about this book I read some 30 years ago!! I recall it as my 1st true understanding of feminism and why not all progress is productive. It's important now because I had a really bad experience at work where I up and walked out. My inner dialogue: you took me away from The Temple of My Familiar... Everything was going great, then conflict hurled me over the edge. But instead of being hurled out of orbit, I found ME and learned- again... The temple is in ME. My new job represents the strength it takes to be born again, a new and deal with it w/ dignity and resolve. It's not "ideal", but imma be alright...
