Complete disappointment for those who have read the book. Portrayal of Atlas was not up to the mark. The way he has been portrayed in the book "the soothing and calming one" is everything, but there's no such thing in the movie. There were a lot of things Lily did for Atlas that were completely missing. The journals weren't there and the most important line "keep swimming" was missing. How Atlas gave a surprise visit to Lily on her 16th birthday and gave her the magnet which she kept on her fridge all those years and many other things that they didn't include. Felt like the movie was made in a hurry. Could have made it better if they actually followed the book. I think the movie is 20% of what the book is!
