It’s not just about violence or vengeance; it’s about love, loss, and the pain of having something beautiful torn away, and the need to set things right. Brandon Lee’s performance as Eric Draven is unforgettable. Knowing the tragedy surrounding his death during filming only amplifies the raw emotion he brings to the role. There’s a sincerity in his portrayal, a man broken by grief but powered by love, that makes the character resonate deeply. It’s not often a comic book adaptation feels this human.
