Thudarum Review: A Disappointing Follow-up Thudarum's positive reception seems less about its own merits and more about the audience's reaction to Empuraan. Prithviraj effectively set up Thudarum for success by making viewers dislike his character in Empuraan; this created a hunger to see Mohanlal in a more relatable, human role again.
