I absolutely love The Good Cop. It's not only a nice fluffy comedy, but a well built mystery as well. The director and writers set up all the clues you need to solve the mystery on your own, but it is always a delight watching Josh Groban solve it with the help of his "no good" but incredibly charismatic and heartfelt dad. Groban, named Tony Jr, or TJ is the cleanest, most wonderful character I have seen in a show for so long. If you want to feel good, have a nice laugh, and even watch this with your kids, parents, or
grandparents/grandchildren, this show is for you. It has no cuss words and it's jokes are actually really really funny punches. Their witty and understandable, with jokes that all ages can understand (and some clever 18+ jokes, if you know what I mean). The chemistry between TJ and Cora (TJ's dad's parole officer) is palpable and an absolute Marvel to watch these two banter while in the end respecting each other. The most wonderful thing though is that, as a Netflix show, it's in a variety of languages that have great translations. I love this show, and it's an absolute shame they wont be making a 2nd season.
