Think poor (like destitute) man's Die Hard with a ridiculous, puerile twist. Whomever wrote this must have been on work experience, some of the lines are so bad you can't imagine how anyone greenlit this. The acting is appalling (yes including Mel, just stop trying to play the hero now) & they clearly expected the audience to suspend all belief with the ridiculous plot. I'm no Columbo but I worked out the mystery in the first 20mins, it took my dog a little longer! Either Mel's trying to help out a family member who's involved in the filming or he's trying to get some tax breaks. If your movie maturity stopped at 15 you might enjoy this, otherwise don't bother wasting any precious minutes of your life! Overriding all this is the nagging question throughout why they didn't at least make the villains voice more frightening. As Mel himself says, what kind of B grade movie bullshit is this...
