Absolutely phenomenal read. I'm 31 and haven't carried around a book with me everywhere I went like I do with this book since the Harry Potter and Eragon series released. I'm obsessed. I'm a frequent gamer. At least an hour a day. Ever since I got this book; I just stopped cuz all I care about is turning the page.
My husband is listening to the audiobook and says the narrator is good, but I would recommend reading a physical or electronic edition because it's such a great book to let your imagination run wild with.
I'd crazy busy with my career and convinced myself that I don't have time to read, for which the most part of is true so my husband and I use Audible on a daily basis and we love that we can still listen to books and find time to game.
This book MADE ME find time to read it. I'm falling in love with reading all over again and I never even lost my love for reading in the first place.
UPDATE: Finished this last night. I'm utterly amazed. I dreamed of this book. It was the first thing I'd think of when I woke and the last thing before I slept. I laughed. I cried. I held my breath in anticipation. I FELT....I was shocked and distraught when I started Ravensong and Ox was no longer the protagonist. I felt like so much more needed to be said and experienced though him. I hope those gaps are filled in and satisfied as I read on. Regardless, this is my new favorite book of all time. Thank you so much TJ for the impact you had on my heart.
