Being 15, this movie really touched my heart. For so many years we’ve been told or made to feel that praying isn’t the solution—but this film made me feel otherwise. The songs are so beautiful, the animation is absolutely breathtaking, and that moment when Vishnu himself came to meet Prahlad… it was beyond words. Prahlad was such a blessing to me—the way Vishnu was protecting him, and the way he was so deeply in love with his God, that he was even happy while dying, knowing that whenever he chanted Vishnu’s name, he would die in the sweetness of that love. When I saw Vishnu, it felt like I had seen everything I ever wanted to see in the world. His light brown eyes sparkled, and the loving way he looked at Prahlad was pure magic. The background music wrapped around the scene like a blessing. And that last fight—WOW. Just wow.
