The Shadow was a pulp fiction powerhouse. This version of The Shadow mocks what was very successful. It was before my time, but having read reprints and some of the radio serials on cassettes, this book was not for me. I won’t spoil it for those unfamiliar, but I will pass on the second book in the series.
