Heartstopper is an absolute beauty. Moments shared between the two aren't drawn out to the point of being uncomfortable, and they aren't bad kids, they both do well in school, are good people in general and are relatively sociable. It's a beautiful love story, but it's also one of the most realistic ones I've ever seen. It shows how two kids can be normal, and not stereotypically normal, but with problems that kids nowadays can relate to. And on top of all of that, they're both boys, which promotes the LGBTQ+ community and gives it a slight sense of normalcy, despite it being shown that Charlie was bullied for being gay. And my personal favorite part of the show is how Nick isn't just gay, he's bisexual. Being bisexual myself, it's really hard to find representation in the entertainment world. I've watched Heartstopper 3 times already and am watch it a fourth time with my parents. Ever seen I first finished it I've been looking for shows similar, and there really isn't anything like it. Or anything even mildly close to it. Astounding. Truly.
