South Park Snow Day attempts to capture the spirit of the past two games while reinventing itself. After finishing the campaign which takes about 5 hours or less, I still wonder what the developers were thinking and why this game was even released. Snow Day is the most boring experience I've had all year and after the first hour I wanted to forget it existed. The narrative takes place after Fracture but Whole, but instead of being a turn-based RPG, it's a melee combat game using a limited variety of weapons. The visuals have also changed to a 3D format and make the animation look even worse by highlighting the disproportions of the characters. The weapons consist of a sword, hammer or daggers for close combat, while arrows or magic wands for ranged attacks. On the other hand, you will randomly get abilities called "Bullshit" which can be fart bombs, fires, among other things. The reality is that none of them make the game efficient or fun. The five missions you'll be given access to last for almost an hour, and in the process you'll be fighting waves of generic enemies while telling jokes that don't even resemble the TV show. You can play these missions co-op, but it only makes the experience a little more bearable. Snow Day follows a line opposite to the past two games and doesn't really connect with the audience, nor does it have the heart of the franchise.
