I have loved all of Jilly Cooper's books except this one, which is sad. Unfortunately footballers, it would seem, don't have much depth unlike the wonderful equestrians, artists, musicians and teachers in the other books. Definitely hard to write about therefore. I think it would be best to buy the audio version and to listen to it whilst engaging in other tasks.

A great thriller. Gary Oldman is brilliant as Jackson Lamb, indeed great acting from everyone altogether. I subscribed to Apple+ just for this ...so worth it.

Sort of compelling but not as good as the Spielberg alien invasion series of a few years ago. The Japanese theme is the best part of it. I'm now watching series 2, maybe it will improve.

Sarah Lancashire is BRILLIANT as Julia Child. All of the cast do a wonderful job bringing the new era of televised cookery shows to life.
