Barbara was extraordinary in her adventurous persistence in facing difficulties. She was willing to keep standing up, to try again and to try better after she faced the usual and the unusual problems life brought her. I had a lump in my throat for a couple hours after I finished the book. She is kind to and candid about her family, and she will not stand down without understanding and speaking her healthy peace. I'm so glad I read this book.
