Only rating two stars for the good cinematography. The characters are lifeless and shallow, Timothy Chalametโs performance is almost cringe worthy, and the story line is non-existent. But quite possibly the worst part is the constant and repetitive music going on in the background, especially noticeable as two characters speak a very dull and mundane dialogue. I donโt understand why there is a crescendo soundtrack for every second of the film, especially when nothing ever actually builds up to a climax/epic moment. You could skip two hours of the film and still not miss anything. I canโt get these two hours and 20 minutes of my life back. If you want to see a decent Netflix movie with that medieval feel, watch outlaw king. It is leagues above this film.
