I asked for this book for Christmas. I watch Jim Shockey on TV and love his show. I never read a review or synopsis of the book before opening it. At first I was confused. From knowing what little I know of Mr. Shockey and from the title, I expected a book narrating his hunting exploits around the globe. Boy, was I wrong!! I have approximately 50 Stephen King novels on my bookshelves. I’ve read every one of them, sometimes multiple times. I promise you, this book will be read over and over again!! I cannot imagine the research that went into this work of fiction! The story line was incredible!! Complex, yet easy to follow. Entertaining yet thought provoking. The details are fantastic!! I cannot wait for his next book!!
