I watched this movie yesterday and I have only two remarks. First I will say that I am completely unbiased, I am neither American nor Chinese. This movie was bad. First there was way to much propaganda, I assume against the USA mainly, making out as though America is invading China's airspace. the fighter jet scenes have bad physics, and the final battle is only like a minute long, and its just the J-20 chasing the F-35 around with the F-35 not even trying to fight back. This movie was only made because Top Gun Maverick didn't show in Chinese theaters because tom cruise wore some jacket. It feels rushed, like they just threw a script together in a hurry. because they did. now Im not saying top gun isn't propaganda, but this movie is way too obvious. the American pilots are really badly portrayed, almost evil I would have said. The CG budget was huge, but the directing is horrible. If you're just a jet fan like me, I can tell you there isn't many jet battles. just one at the beginning and a very small one at the end. just go watch top gun its just better.
