Honestly, what an amazing way to continue a legacy.
There was so much nostalgia, humor, heart, and warmth that a sequel really needs. Never really was a Karate Kid fan until the recent Cobra Kai series, and remembered how great the Jackie Chan Karate Kid was when I was younger. Genuinely thought that the movie had the perfect flow. Even though I wish there were more scenes of the training process, I understood it wouldn't have benefited the story of Li's character when he had so much potential from the beginning. Every fight scene in the film was perfectly captured, and I loved the little moment when both senseis helped protect Xiao Li. I was excited for this film when I first saw the trailer, and truth be told, it did not disappoint. I hope they can continue the Karate Kid legends, and props to Ben for bringing the excitement for Karate Kid back to life.
