Nice read ..as a historian myself more towards civilisations and cultures ...I feel the author is more assumptive and opioniated. The author assumes without facts in multiple places one such example is that not 1 not 2 but all 12 of them had hallucinations of Christ.. not once but multiple times ...linking this to others beliefs is interesting ..we for a fact know that Jews were taken to Macedonia so they could have invibed some of their culture...but assuming without proof is like saying that Jesus was in a Buddhist monastery for 15 years as he was the LAMA as was pointed by the 3 wise men (Buddist Monks) from the east( China) following the star...So, No the book is not at all written by an Historian.
