Stunning and absolutely beautiful. Builds nicely on the world introduced in the original film. A somewhat loose and generic plot is presented in fantastic and original ways-- with some surprising elements as well. The pacing makes the three-hour-plus runtime seem not uncomfortable. The 3D and CGI elements are top notch and blend perfectly with practical sets and effects. All in all, I enjoyed it a bit more that the first installment, and I look forward to Avatar 3.
