I feel the police dropped the ball. I think Burke accidentally killed his sister because she took some of his pineapple. He strangled her and parents covered for him. They didn't want to lose 2 children. Why would a kidnapper ask for 118,000 and then kill and leave in house your only way of getting your money. I also feel Patsy wrote the the ransom note.
