so watched Sonic the hedgehog 3 tonight and honestly i thought it'd be more SA2 inspired, but it feels like they only took some details from SA2 and threw in some easter eggs/references but making it more of an original take. i would of prefered a more SA2 derived plot, theres a lot of added fluff and overall the trilogy just seems aged down for younger audiences. im not the target watcher and i get that, but the trilogy stands at a solid 4/10 for me eggman goofing around with his grandfather for like 15 minutes of the movie felt like forced added fluff to extend the movie timer honestly if it was a direct 1-1 version of the events that happened in SA2 then it would of been a masterpiece unparalled to any other film to have existed and yet to exist. honestly if they played the entire song all 4 minutes and 35 seconds of live and learn, the movie would go from a 4/10 to an 8/10 no joke but live and learn was butchered super sonic/super shadow was the only reason the movie went from a 2/10 to a 4/10 the movie was not great SA2 10/10 STH3 4/10 STH3 was a mockery of SA2 but I can understand I was not the target audience if you're going to make a movie adaptation of one of the best games to have ever existed then you do it right sonic and tails didn't save the president in STH3
