Feels like a washed out version of the first movie, with the most painfully predictable story beats, terrible character choices, and laughably bad dialogue. And without James Horner behind the score, it lacks the magical feeling of another planet, and instead feels like a video game world. Small spoiler, the bad guys are now killing super intelligent anti-war space whales, because they have blood that can stop human aging. Anyone who says this film is a good global warming lesson needs some better lessons.
