WildGypsy Rose

I loved this movie! While many people are complaining and calling this a Star Wars rip off, I would have to disagree. I loved all the nods to other films and the little snippets here and there from other films such as Star Wars, Dune, Harry Potter and probably so many more. I honestly look forward to watching it again and seeing what other pieces have been so obviously loved by the writers that they put these things into this film. They have taken things that have been done before just like any other writer and film maker and spun it into something of their own while creating something new and mesmerizing. I would of liked to of seen a little more characterization and build up to the extra characters that were being recruited in the film, as I dont feel much level of attachment to them. I felt more attachment to the spider lady with her little speech about the mines and what has been done to her. I felt more sympathy for her than a recruited good guy. But overall I really liked this Film. A little bit of the cgi looked goofy in a few spots ,particularly a flying animal scene. But I can overlook that. I am very happy to see more SciFI/ Fantasy being made. I look forward to the next installment.
