Frankly, the events were predictable: the good girl decides to end her long lasting relationship because she fell in love with the cold bad boy (after discovering it's all an act: an attempt to hide his pain) so she manages to heal his wounds and makes him fall for her which wasn't part of his plan. Yet the way "After" ,somehow, embraced young adults' dreams and fantasies was the reason why we can't get enough of it.
