Great show! The production was fantastic! The acting and visual effects were really well done. The mature theme really created a captivating tone for the many serious plots found in the traditional Wizard of Oz. It's a shame that a show with lots of potential for its season two was put on ice. Hopefully, another studio can continue where NBC left off.

The overall production was pretty good. The acting, CGI, directing, and photography, just to name a few key components, were pretty good. The movie felt "easy on the eyes' in this capacity. A couple of the weak points were the screenplay and the way the story fleshed out. It felt like some of the characters had to make cliched bad decisions even though one can assume that the character would have enough on-the-job experience to instinctively not make these mistakes. I guess in a 1.5 hour long movie, story telling needs to be expedited. If you are a fan of this type of movie genre, then its worth watching. 3/5 stars -jj
