The movie had me for a good half but I found myself side-eyeing the little bits where they would almost romanticize the relationship between a child and her abuser. I'm sure the excuse is "Even if it isn't pretty and doesn't go how you like it, this stuff can happen!" but in my opinion, it's just a zero-effort way of trying to make a sexual assault case theatrical. Gross!
