As a child of the 80’s, I enjoyed the nostalgia, but Andrew McCarthy didn’t inspire any empathy. He was hugely successful, but spends most of the doc whining about how one article defined his career. Ally, Rob, Emilio, and Demi all took positive spins on how “Brat Pack” affected them, Andrew, not so so much. At one point, I wanted the author, who came up with the term “Brat Pack,” to say to Andrew, “Jesus, man, your life and career has been better than most. It’s been 30+ years, be thankful and get the F over it.”
