By no means a quality game by AAA standards, but who the hell expects that from a Pokemon game?
The walls might be cardboard and the textures low-res, but the Pokemon trainer fantasy has never been more immersive than with the new battle system.
The story also is a huge step-up from other Pokemon games. You can actually get invested in the characters and the game even manages to be funny at times.
