Chantal Yoshimi Guillemot

I TRULY don’t understand how this got such amazing reviews. I can barely stand the main girl Sakura. She is basically a major stalker harassing someone in the workplace by constantly asking him to go out with her. Her profession choice is solely based off of getting a guy. Also, Tendo-san always has this sleepy scowling expression. I know he’s supposed to be skulky and cool but it’s so intense and constant that it comes off as a bit ridiculous and comical to me. I’m not saying this isn’t overall entertaining, it has great moments involving patients at the hospital and their stories, but I would not rate it so highly. I know it’s also a culture thing, in Japan persistence in showing your feelings is seen as charming and courageous. Personally I would find it pretty annoying and inappropriate, ESPECIALLY in the workplace.

Love it, but the two main girls are incredibly selfish and I couldn’t stand them in a few of the episodes. Tsundere personalities often get on my nerves though. Overall though I still really enjoyed this show. Not as funny as some other romcom Kdramas but still cute enough to keep me going. The main guy played by Ahn Hyo Seop is really what I stuck around for.
