Having served in Iraq myself, this film hit close to home. It brought back a flood of memoriesโsome good, some painful. The way it immerses you in the reality of that world is striking.
Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland have done a phenomenal job capturing the essence of the experience. Their portrayal feels raw, authentic, and deeply personal.
My only gripe is seeing 432s standing in for Bradley IFVs. But I get itโmost of the available Bradleys have likely been sent to Ukraine.
After reading some of the negative reviews, I canโt help but feel that many viewers are missing the point.
