This provides detail of not only the original drill for firing the match lock musket, but also the Spanish reenactor's glossary and commands with safety notes. To a lesser extent, drill for the pikeman. This is a wonderful find. I could wish that the author will also site a monograph on unit drill of the period. There is a nice bibliography and copious notes. This book is valuable to the shooter, the reenactor, and students of 17th century military matters.
