I have loved this show because it is a fascinating study of how a father can affect a whole family. This show has also opened the door for everyone to see how some polygamous families live. And sometimes I have learned a little bit from the show about how polygamy was practiced over a hundred years ago. This is very fascinating to me because I am a Christian, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (also known as Mormons) and our church stopped the practice of polygamy a hundred years ago because a living prophet of God received direction from the Lord to stop the practice. I come from a few descendants who practiced polygamy. And until this show most polygamists lived in secret. The laws of the past were hard and unfair for the present. Of course there are other sects of polygamy which still live in secret, but the laws have changed.
As a total outsider, and fan of the show since conception, I must say it seems like Kody needs help quickly with depression/anxiety. This help could possibly help him see that things are not overwhelming, destroyed, or impossible.
BecauseโฆIt is way past time for Kody to โStep Upโ!
Kody needs to be the referee between all of the kids and his wives. Kody needs to be the one to help facilitate relationships. Kody is the one who can help heal the family. He needs to see outside of himself and put everyone elseโs needs first! The kids need a healer. It is his job, obviously.
Kody has taken too personally the words spoken between him and the older kids. They are still kids! He needs to have one on one with the older kids to hear their feelings. โJust do itโ Kody!
How easy is it to see that Kody should take Savannah and Breanna out to lunch, or something like that, for example.
Be the facilitator for healing, Kody.
Family Relationships are always fixable and possible if one side or both can bend deeply.
Just my thoughts, sincerely, and I do love the Brown family!
