I had high hopes for “Magazine Dreams” as a former champion bodybuilder, but I was quite disappointed. The portrayal of bodybuilders, especially the lead character, felt off—delusional and emotionally troubled. While there were some strong performances, the weak storyline and lack of payoff left me feeling quite disappointed.

The lead actor was inexperienced, and his performance fell short of expectations. Furthermore, his physique lacked the muscularity and commanding presence expected of a gladiator.
