Good Lord.
This horse has long since been dead and beaten. I'm going to wander up, now that the crowd ha, dispersed, and get my kicks in too.
Multiplayer is just a rehash of old maps that have been shifted and have different lighting. The bugs and glitches are inexcusable. Zombies mode is atrocious. It feels like Warzone with reused assets from multiple games in horrid ways. It's fun to play with people...that's the highlight. This is what gaming has become.
Now onto the campaign:
Where is the music? There are entire stretches that are completely silent or so quiet that it adds nothing to the story. I'd say the campaign is lukewarm at best, but thats an insult to the term. It's cold. Just ice cold. Price is a moron, Makarov lost his "genius" at planning, and the dialogue is atrocious. I'm convinced they prompted an AI to write the dialogue as some of it doesn't seem natural at all.
Half of the missions are *checks notes* "Open combat zones" so... Warzone. They don't flow well, they aren't cinematic, and your allies (that show up on the cutscenes to assist) decide to nope the f out and send one soldier in to clear out entire squads of enemies. Makes sense. Not to mention one of those missions is walking. Even worse, the mission lends nothing to the story in the end.
Everyone has heard it at this point. Even Kratos made mention of the game At the VGA's.
Overall: 2/10
IF you want to play multiplayer, wait for it to go on heavy sale. Don't pay full price, it's seriously not worth it.
