I started playing in October and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Levelled up to 135 now and still not completed the missions. That’s just me though because I like looting, vending and adventuring. The game is a hell of a lot better than others would have you believe. I understand early adopters being annoyed at certain problems that existed but they have certainly ironed out the kinks a lot more now and the game plays fine. I rarely have server issues and they are really busy with lots of players. Other players are generally very nice and helpful and it is fun going to peoples bases to shop on their vending machines. I purchased the game cheaply and wanted to buy some atoms but hadn’t yet so when fallout 1st launched I thought it was a good deal. For £10 per month I get atoms to that value or higher, private server, scrap box, travel tent and cosmetic items. Too much unjustified negativity from some people, this is optional and a reasonable deal. Maybe they could have given everyone the scrap box but the game was ok without it anyway and they need to offer extra value for subscribers. oh and I had no problems with any of the fallout 1st items either. Everything has worked perfect from the start, seems like a load of fake news to me!

NO SPOILERS: I waited until near full release to finally play it, after initially being put off by the changes to the formula of the first one. Well they must have listened because the game is great and feels similar to the first one with you having to find your own way in the depths. It does have more of a narrative than the original but it’s a good evolution of the game. It also runs a lot better than the original with no glaring terrain pop-in ruining immersion, I’m very impressed with the smooth performance. Having now played 17 hours I have noticed the odd bug/glitch here and there but they are all minor visual hitches and only occasional. Hopefully these final optimisations will be ironed out before full release in the next few months. Oh and there are quite a few new gadgets/vehicles and quality of life improvements compared to the first game too. Recommended
