I went into All’s Fair with high expectations, especially given the incredible cast and Ryan Murphy’s track record – but I was left genuinely disappointed. I found the first episode boring and surprisingly flat. KK, who I usually enjoy, was a particular let-down. The long, drawn-out shot of her sitting in fake fur by the fire felt pointless and overly indulgent rather than atmospheric. As someone who’s loved Ryan Murphy’s previous work, I really tried to give this a chance. I had to force myself to finish the first episode. I expected so much more – in tone, pace, and storytelling. Overall, a real miss for me.
