This movie is a disgrace to the book. The mischaracterisation was crazyyyy. Since when did Kim Dokja care for the world? or anyone other than Yoo Jonghyuk? Generally speaking, the movie was fine, it had a "plot" and characters and people would root for. But it's an adaption, not a simple movie. The director might as well have thrown out the books he recived fro SS because he didn't even read them. he misrepresented our beloved squid to badly and the plot itself was so edited from the original that it was hard to watch. Not to mention the director himself rode off the fame of Jisoo and used her face for publicity. I'm not even her fan and I know that is an awful thing to do. The character design was straight awful. Yoo Jonghyuk with stright hair? They had all the controll yet they butchered it so bad. it's 2am and I haven't slept in 2 days but even i can see this movie was stright ass. The only thing my lack of sleep stopped was my ability to write a full essay as a review to complain. They should remove the name of orv from this unrelated movie. It's a shame to the fandom and the book so many people love.
