These days, EA values in-game monetization over the quality of the product itself, and the whales keep this bizarro-world profit strategy viable. But hey, for you non-Madden fans, EA has a whole bevy of rote, bland, uninspired, copy-cat Live Service games slated up for 25 and 26, and those always prove successful and give you your money’s worth, right? Certainly there won’t be any more mass industry layoffs in 2025, because these executives care far too much for their employees. The executives certainly won’t make the employees pay the price for their arrogance and out-of-touch Ivy League dip sh*ttery. Ivy League, more like sociopath sh*t stain league.

What is this movie ultimately saying about class, wealth, culture, colonialism, heritage, autocracy? Nothing of substance, unfortunately. Just more crass adulation of the wealthy, ultimately. I would think maybe a Chinese-American NYU economics professor from a working class background may have more to say on such matters, but I guess the 30 second chat, with no audio, with a aristocratic princess who wrote a “ground breaking” piece on economics will have to suffice.
