We are in 2025 and people still make such misogynistic movies at this age and time. No wonder India is patriarchal, the cringe dialogues and the characters built around a man’s needs and necessities as if women live to serve him. 1. The ex deciding to have a baby even after her being unmarried, shamed for choosing not to commit to the guy, shown as evil for aborting the baby, not having her own love interest and still struck on the main lead who is in love with another woman, what in the man’s fantasy world does that happen 2. No, you generally cannot be a surrogate without having had a previous pregnancy and childbirth. Most agencies and clinics require you to have successfully carried and given birth to at least one child to ensure you understand the physical and emotional demands, and to mitigate risks, as your body's ability to carry a pregnancy to term is unproven without prior experience 3. The marriage between two people shown as an agreement with money and desire to have kids, the guy hyped for his low quality punch dialogues looking like a clown, his wife who was real victim shown as not as “understanding” as her grandma who grew up consuming patriarchy When will people realize any of this? Shame on Indians to watch and encourage such stupid content, please stop

Really good movie, Diganth is such an underrated actor, he has aced the acting

Probably one of the best movies made in this decade and a must watch for everyone regardless of social status, it makes you think about a lot of things that we forget to think about.. it’s raw and it’s beautiful, the soul of the movie is the artists, the pure art of story telling, I am just posting it coz I don’t want people to miss out on this gem in “Saiyaara” fever.. We all live in the same society but we never know what is the inequalities that our people face coz it just feels like it used to happen before, it happens in villages.. NO, look around, the movie has beautifully captured that’s wrong in every homes, the systemic oppression of lower castes, the patriarchy and how many murders are closed as suicides.. it’s not okay and it should never be okay, @tripti_dimri and @siddhantchaturvedi are one of the finest actors of this era and the movie is nothing less than 10/10 and to see it have any rating less than that feels like audience is robbed from such powerful characters and movies on big screen.. I hope more movies come out like this, I wish more people talk about it and I wish we pave the road for future generations to extinguish caste system and patriarchy from our system for good

She is epitome of intelligence and the political game she played was exemplary for any politician in the world. America still doesn’t have a woman president and Indira Gandhi snatched power from people and stayed in power by hook or crook. If a man did it, he is called a great politician and when she did it, male ego can’t take it. I agree with the facts depicted in the movie but end of the day she dint need to be shown as this woman who was mentally struggling. Woman of the century who ruled the entire country single handedly. Her diplomacy and strength was her legacy.

The ending is really good, the twists and the story line and Vijay’s acting, man can make anyone fall in love with him, even Katrina was so compelling and played such complex character with perfection
